Today, Friday, 11 April 2014, the FDFA state secretary, Yves Rossier, received the Bolivian foreign minister, David Choquehuanca Céspedes, on the occasion of the opening of the Bolivian consulate-general in Geneva for a working visit. In addition to bilateral relations, the talks focused on Swiss development cooperation in Bolivia within the framework of Switzerland’s international cooperation strategy in the period 2013-2016, which amounts to approximately CHF 30 million per annum. Another item on the agenda was a stone statue from Bolivia currently in the possession of the Bernisches Historisches Museum (Bern Museum of History). The director of the Federal Office of Culture, Isabelle Chassot, took part in the discussion.
