In Ukraine official Swiss representations safeguard Switzerland’s various interests. Swiss cooperation with Eastern Europe is supporting Ukraine in its progress towards a social market economy and democracy.

The FDFA advises against all travel to Ukraine.

The FDFA recommends that Swiss nationals in Ukraine leave the country by their own means if this appears possible and safe. Otherwise, it is recommended to stay in a safe place. Follow the instructions of the local authorities and take the necessary precautions.

Swiss nationals who require consular services or any other kind of assistance can contact the FDFA Helpline by e-mail or telephone. Please inform the Helpline when you leave the country or when you move to a different location in Ukraine.

Switzerland has limited or no means of providing emergency assistance.

Stay in contact with your relatives.
