At a joint Council of Europe and OSCE event highlighting the curse of trafficking in human beings, this form of modern day slavery is condemned in the strongest terms.
Representing Switzerland, currently holding the Chairmanship of the OSCE, Swiss Minister of Justice Simonetta Sommaruga, highlights the political agenda of Switzerland in the prevention of and countermeasures against trafficking in human beings, while pointing out that only an internationally orchestrated effort will yield results.
