Bilateral relations Switzerland–Trinidad and Tobago

Switzerland and Trinidad and Tobago maintain good but not particularly extensive relations. Trade between the two countries consists mainly of pharmaceuticals and chemicals.

Key aspects of diplomatic relations

The two countries have signed agreements on double taxation, air traffic, and the reciprocal protection of investments. The Swiss embassy in Caracas, Venezuela represents Swiss interests in Trinidad and Tobago.

In 2022 Switzerland imported CHF 600,000 in goods – primarily chemicals – from Trinidad and Tobago. It exported products to the value of CHF 6.1 million to Trinidad and Tobago, mainly comprising pharmaceutical products and machinery.
