On October 6, Switzerland and Tanzania signed two Bilateral Agreements worth CHF 17.8 million (TZS 44.1 billion) to improve health and livelihoods of Tanzanians through the Health Basket Fund (HBF) and Tanzania Social Action Fund (TASAF). The Agreements were signed in Dodoma by the Swiss Ambassador to Tanzania, H.E. Didier Chassot, and the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and Planning, Mr. Doto James.
