What impact do cultural exchange and international networks have? What roles do art and culture play in the process of social change? CROSSROADS, organised by The Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), offers a platform for discussion with a conference and a cultural programme on these core questions.
“DISPLACED” is a project by the Swiss Federal Commission on Migration (FCM), the Swiss State Secretariat for Migration (SEM), the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
Looking ahead to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the SDC is organising a round table on women’s capacity for action in Benin, featuring guest speakers from Benin and Switzerland.

The countries of Eastern Europe in particular are facing the challenge of supplying reliable and affordable energy for all people and companies without a negative impact on the climate. In a region where most of the energy consumed still comes from non-renewable resources this is no easy task.
