On March 24, the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, the Swiss Government, the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SCTM) and 15 municipalities in Serbia signed a joint Memorandum of Understanding to promote citizens’ engagement in the decision-making process at the local level. The Swiss government is providing EUR 733,000 in support of the planned activities.

The Culture for Democracy project has selected the first grant winners under two calls: support to cultural and artistic projects and partnership projects. The Swiss supported Culture for Democracy project selected grantees within the first open call. Support will be dedicated to a total of 19 projects for the realization of cultural and artistic projects and realization of partnership projects amounting to EUR 232,000.
