The overall goal of the Swiss Cooperation Programme for Serbia for the period 2026-2029 is to strengthen Serbia’s resilience and inclusive development and support European integration by contributing to the development of accountable institutions, a vibrant economy and Serbia’s green transformation.

The Programme focuses on three priority areas:

Democratic Local Governance and Engaged Civic Sector
Economic Development and Employment
Climate Change and Resilient Cities

Gender equality and social inclusion, good governance, climate action are transversal themes incorporated in into all Swiss programmes.

The activities within the Swiss Serbian Migration Partnership led by the Swiss State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) constitute an integral part of the Programme.
