Director: Alain Gsponer

Heidi spent the happiest days of her childhood with her grumpy grandfather growing up in the Swiss Alps. The carefree time comes to an end when her aunt Dete whisks her off to Frankfurt to be a companion of a wheelchair-bound child, Klara.

Although the two girls soon become friends and Klara’s grandmother ignites Heidi’s passion for reading and writing, Heidi starts to feel homesick and longs for the freedom in the mountains and her childhood friend, the goatherd.

Adapted from the Swiss classic, ‘Heidi’ is sure to captivate audiences of all ages!
