Over half of the world’s forcibly displaced people are children, and nearly 250 million children live in countries affected by conflict; millions more face risks from climate change, disaster, violence and epidemics. The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated this situation. We are witnessing a global crisis in which children and youth are at heightened risk of losing years of education.
