Information for Swiss citizens:
On March 16, 2020, the Swiss Federal called for all Swiss travelling abroad to return to their country of residence.
The Department of Foreign Affairs does not plan any evacuation flights from the United States to Europe. Presently, several airlines continue to offer flights from the USA to Switzerland and Europe. As the flight offerings change frequently, please contact the airline or your travel agent directly to book or change your return flight.

Swiss citizens living in the United States of America are NOT mandated to return to Switzerland. The decision as to whether or not to travel to Switzerland is at your own discretion and your own personal responsibility. Swiss citizens must travel with a valid Swiss passport in order to enter Switzerland. Dual citizens should be aware that U.S. citizens are required by law to enter and leave the United States with a U.S. passport.
