The preservation of lives and alleviation of suffering of the people through disaster risk reduction/management measures in the disaster prone areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FAZA) is part of the domain "Water Governance" of the current Swiss Cooperation Strategy. The Backstopper provides thematic expertise for the portfolio of SDC Pakistan sets the target for the integration of DRR/M and provices recommendations to specific activities.
