Please note that the counters of this representation are currently accessible to the public by appointment from Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 12:00. Appointments can be requested by phone at +39(0)6 809 571 or by email at roma@eda.admin.ch.

For information on entry requirements into Italy, please refer to the competent Italian Authorities, complete the survey of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affaires or check our page on current requirements for travellers.

Certificate of life OASI

The annual verification of the existence of OASI/DI will be modified by 01.01.2022. The life and civil status certificate will no longer be sent to all the beneficiaries. The concerned beneficiaries will be informed by the Swiss Compensation Office (SCO) and the DI Office for people living abroad (OAIE) by mail. The letter will be sent a month prior to the month when you usually received the life and civil status certificate (e.g. if you received the life and civil status certificate in January, you will receive the letter in December). Please contact us (roma.consolato@eda.admin.ch), if you have received neither the letter nor the life and civil status certificate.

Warning of false job advertisements

Emails with the sender "Swiss Immigration" and requests for payment are sent to foreigners. The SEM warns against these fraud attempts.
