As the official representation of Switzerland, the Embassy covers all matters concerning diplomatic relations between the two countries. It represents Swiss interests in the areas of political, economic and financial affairs, legal arrangements, science, education and culture.

Developments in the region
The Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine closely monitors the situation in the region, which remains volatile and unpredictable.
For Swiss nationals: Please refer to the travel advice of the FDFA and keep yourself informed about the current situation. Travel to Ukraine and stays of any kind are advised against. Swiss nationals who decide to remain in the country or to travel to Ukraine contrary to the FDFA's recommendation must be aware that Switzerland may have only limited or no means of providing assistance in emergencies.

Visa
Visa applications shall be submitted to the Embassy of Switzerland in Bucharest who is currently competent for issuing visas.

Protection status S for refugees from war
Switzerland helps persons in need of protection who have fled Ukraine – with protection status S (no quota)
