Exchange of recalled Swiss banknotes

On 30 April 2021 the Swiss National Bank (SNB) recalled its eighth-series banknotes. While these notes have lost their status as legal tender, they can be exchanged for an unlimited period at their full nominal value at  SNB branch offices or agencies in Switzerland in person or by post.

The Embassy of Switzerland in the UK cannot exchange recalled Swiss banknotes.
