Social Insect, was founded by the bass clarinet player and key figure in the Hardcore Chambermusic, Hans Koch, and electronic musician Gaudenz Badrutt.
With the main interest to deconstruct instruments and sounds, they collaborate with various Japanese artists including Maki Hachiya (vocalist) and Yasumune Morishige (cellist and improvisor).
