Dushanbe, 21 August 2019 – Dushanbe hosts the Regional Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction and implementation of the Sendai Framework* for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) 2015-2030. Stakeholders from ten countries and several international organizations are participating at the conference to exchange best practices, to stimulate countries to actively fulfil the Sendai Framework in their countries, and to build cross-border cooperation on disaster response and preparedness.

The Swiss Cooperation Office in Tajikistan (SCO) promotes local artists by conducting frequent small exhibitions of new paintings. In January 2019, new two Tajik famous artists Farrukh Negmatzade and Bahrom Ismatov presented their new collection of paintings in SCO's office. All paintings reflect the colors and features of Tajikistan.
