Projet Réponse d’urgence à base communautaire à la menace des engins explosifs dans les régions de Mopti et Tombouctou (PRUCEE-MT)

Le Mali figure parmi les cinq pays d’Afrique les plus exposés aux incidents liés aux engins explosifs De janvier à juillet 2025, OCHA a recensé 216 incidents, entravant gravement l’acheminement de l’aide humanitaire, surtout au centre et au nord. Les femmes, les enfants et les personnes déplacées en sont les premières victimes. Face à cette menace croissante, l’appui de la Suisse vise à renforcer la résilience communautaire par une réponse coordonnée, inclusive et durable.


Local Solutions for Disaster Risk Reduction in Latin America and the Caribbean

The initiative seeks to build disaster and climate resilience in 16 cities across 8 Latin American and Caribbean targeted countries. Co-designed by UN-Habitat and SDC’s Regional Hub Lima, it focuses on inclusive, risk-informed municipal planning and community-led solutions. Aligned with national priorities, the initiative fosters multi-stakeholder participation and collaboration to protect lives and promote resilient, locally owned urban development.


Strengthening Livelihoods and Social Inclusion in Georgia’s Forest Sector Reform

Since 2020, Switzerland has supported Georgia’s Forest Sector Reform (FSR), led by the Georgian Government with co-financing from the Green Climate Fund (GCF)  and Germany. In this final phase, Switzerland will continue its contribution to address decades of forest overuse and weak governance that left ecosystems  degraded. Priorities include municipal forest management, stronger forestry  education, and sustainable, inclusive value chains. Swiss expertise will promote quality standards, innovation, and research. 


Projet Résilience alimentaire des personnes déplacées internes (ProRes), phase unique

01.10.2025 - 30.09.2028

Au Burkina Faso, plus de 2 millions de personnes, majoritairement des femmes et des enfants, sont déplacées à cause du conflit. Ces personnes vivent dans une grande vulnérabilité, avec un accès limité aux ressources essentielles. La Suisse et l’Allemagne unissent leurs efforts pour soutenir 84 000 déplacés internes. Leur appui vise la reconstitution durable des moyens d’existence. L’intervention promeut un accès équitable à la terre, à l’eau et à la forêt dans un cadre apaisé.


Healthcare for Rohingya and host communities – CoxCare

The intervention promotes resilience, preparedness, and continuity of locally led healthcare amidst rising humanitarian needs and declining funding. Safe childbirth services, sexual and gender-based violence response, and access to dignified, gender-sensitive healthcare are a prime focus. The project will contribute to strengthening access to healthcare for Rohingya refugees as well as for host communities in Cox’s Bazar, who face systemic marginalisation and limited services.


Youth For Future II

Young migrants, forcibly displaced persons (FDPs), and marginalized Egyptians face serious risks of exploitation, exclusion, and poverty. Many struggle to access livelihood opportunities and basic services. This project aims to reduce protection risks by enhancing employability and supporting inclusive protection services. The project also advocates for fair and inclusive policies that uphold the rights and dignity of all youth. At its core, the project promotes equity, resilience, and opportunity.

Au Mali, les entreprises font face à des contraintes majeures telles que le financement, l’électricité, l’accès à l’information, l’encadrement et les marchés. Pour répondre à ces défis, la Suisse soutient le PIATE, une initiative du Patronat malien. Ce projet vise à mettre en place un centre d’information, d’orientation et d’assistance stratégique aux entreprises. Il s’inscrit dans une dynamique de partenariat public-privé structuré et durable. Cette approche reflète la cohérence de l’engagement du Buco aux côtés du privé.


Modernizing VET in Agriculture in Armenia (MAVETA)

Switzerland with Germany and Austria continues to support Armenia’s transition to a work-based VET system building on its expertise and first phase results. The project will empower and strengthen state actors to take ownership and coordinate efforts towards a more inclusive and labour market relevant system. Simultaneously, targeted support to colleges and private sector organizations should improve agricultural VET quality, enabling rural youth to access decent job opportunities.


Integrated child protection and education in emergencies intervention for displaced and Conflict-Affected Children and Families in Gaza and the West Bank

Switzerland, through its partner Terre des Hommes Foundation Lausanne, supports the provision of critical child protection and education in emergencies services to conflict-affected children in the West Bank and Gaza. Thereby it contributes to their protection from violence and enables access to psychosocial support and learning opportunities.



Programme d’Appui à la Gestion du Développement des compétences professionnelles par les Apprentissages en langues nationales (PAGEDA), phase 3

La Suisse soutient les efforts du gouvernement du Bénin pour la formation d’un capital humain de qualité à travers le développement des compétences techniques et professionnelles par l’utilisation des langues nationales comme vecteur d’apprentissage, en vue d’améliorer l’employabilité de 20'000 citoyens-nes hors du système scolaire dont 50% de femmes au moins.


Accelerating Land Release and Recovery in Ukraine

01.10.2025 - 31.12.2027

Switzerland supports Ukraine in accelerating the safe release of contaminated land, contributing to the protection of civilians and economic recovery. Leveraging the expertise of APOPO, a member of the Swiss coalition on mine action, the project strengthens a Ukrainian mine action operator in an innovative dog-based methodology that allows land to be released more quickly. Building local capacity and autonomy, Switzerland contributes to effective and sustainable humanitarian mine action.
