Alert on Commercial Flights
This message serves to inform that international commercial flight options currently exist in Zambia.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure that you have a quick onward flight from Addis Ababa! The Swiss government does not anticipate arranging repatriation flights in Zambia at this time.
The Embassy also asks all tourists passing through Zimbabwe, Malawi and Zambia to register on the FDFA's Travel App https://www.eda.admin.ch/traveladmin-de.html so that contact can be established in case of an emergency.
Update of information regarding permits for Swiss citizens in Zambia
The thirty (30) day immigration extension will apply to the applications for extensions for the nationals’ permits that may expire during the COVID-19 control period.
