The Innovation Partnership Grants
The Innovation Partnership Grants support the establishment of a cooperation between Switzerland-based researchers with non-academic innovation agents (i.e. companies, start-ups, hospitals) in East and Southeast Asia.
Application deadline: 31 July 2022
Eligible applicants: postdoctoral students, senior scientists, or professors of Swiss federal and cantonal universities, universities of applied sciences and universities of teacher education, and public research institutes.
Eligible Asian partners: Innovation agents must be senior staff affiliated with a company, start-up, innovation park or similar agency in the partner country. University scientists from the partner country can participate as third parties.
Funding: max. 20k CHF for a project of up to 12 months

The Opportunity Grants
The Opportunity Grants support initiatives of researchers from Swiss universities, universities of applied sciences, universities of teacher education, and public research institutes, linked to specific events or incidents in East and Southeast Asia.
Application deadline: 31 July 2022
Eligible applicants: postdoctoral students, senior scientists, or professors of Swiss federal and cantonal universities, universities of applied sciences and universities of teacher education, and public research institutes.
Eligible Asian partners: Senior academic partners affiliated with a university or a public research institute in the partner country.
Funding: max. 50k CHF for a project of up to 12 months
