After 2019 and now that the pandemic seems to be finally over, Swiss Days Istanbul took place for the second time from 23 to 25 September. The festival was organised by the Consulate General of Switzerland in Istanbul, the Swiss Business Hub Türkiye and the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Türkiye. During the three days, a variety of events took place, most of them free of charge and open to the public.

The Swiss Days started with the annual economic forum of the Chamber of Commerce and the Swiss Business Hub. More than 200 guests followed the panelists' presentations on the theme of "Green Economy in a Blue World”, which revolved around sustainability and the protection of the oceans, in line with the motto of the entire Swiss Days "Designing a Green Future". A large number of Swiss companies based in Türkiye actively supported the Swiss Days with various stands and workshops, ranging from chocolate making to explanation of charging stations for electric vehicles For young adults and aspiring professionals, a Swiss management consulting and executive search company, active worldwide, organised Career Hours. The young guests were able to exchange ideas and get advice from HR managers from more than 10 leading Swiss companies.

The entertainment programme in the Swiss Village offered fun for the little ones with a drawing competition, cow painting, photobooths and much more. In the evening, two live concerts by the Swiss pop-jazz band BConnected and the young Swiss artist Naomi Lareine delighted the audience.

Visitors to the Swiss Days were also able to get to know Switzerland through its gastronomy. In addition to a raclette stand, the restaurants at the Bomontiada offered various typical dishes during the Swiss Days, such as rösti or Zürichcher Geschnetzeltes.

The Turkish street artist "No More Lies" created a 450 m2 mural in the car park just opposite the event venue a few days before Swissdays. A work of art as a gift from Swiss Days to the community and residents of Sisli - Istanbul.
