The Trade Office of Swiss Industries facilitates and promotes economic, cultural, educational, scientific and tourism exchanges between Switzerland and Taiwan. It also provides practical assistance to Swiss nationals in Taiwan.

Based on the decision of Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) to raise the epidemic alert level in Taipei to 3 and to strengthen national restrictions and measures, the Trade Office of Swiss Industries is open to the public by appointment only. Outbreak of a new coronavirus
From 19 March 2020, all foreign nationals, including Swiss citizens, are banned from entering Taiwan. Only foreign nationals who hold a valid Taiwanese residence permit are allowed to enter Taiwan but are subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine.
Since 31 May 2021, the Federal Council recommends not travelling to countries that are on the FOPH list of risk countries due to a variant of the virus of concern. You will find these on the FOPH list under the title "2. countries with a variant of concern".
Entry requirements: From 26 June 2021 onwards, the regular entry requirements will apply for people entering Switzerland from Taiwan.
Border sanitary measures: In response to the COVID-19 pandemic there are special rules for people entering Switzerland. Please refer to the information of the Federal Office of Public Health FOPH.
