The Swiss Contribution to enlargement aims to finance a broad variety of projects. The PPF provided the necessary financial assistance to enable Executing Agencies to submit high quality project proposals. This was especially important in the case of complex projects.

Poorer regions do not have the financial means to prepare a good Final Project Proposal. Likewise, complex projects demand a costly preparation. |

| Results |
Achieved results: The Project Preparation has contributed to the preparation of Swiss funded projects. It allowed the partners to elaborate high-quality project documentation. With this, the Project Preparation Facility played a major role in enabling Switzerland to approve all the projects and to fully commit all the available funds by June 2012. |
