Zurich Ensemble

With the support of the Embassy of Switzerland and in collaboration with Steinway Gallery Singapore, highly acclaimed Zurich Ensemble held a private concert in Singapore for the first time.

The Zurich Ensemble was founded in 2012 by Pi-Chin Chien, Kamilla Schatz, Benjamin Engeli and Fabio di Casola, four of Switzerland’s most renowned and award-winning soloists and chamber musicians. The unique mix of instruments – clarinet, violin, cello and piano – allows to explore a wide range of repertoires.

The musicians played well-known masterpieces such as “Scheherazade” by Nikolay Rimsky-Korsakov as well as pieces especially written for the Ensemble by Swiss composer, Fabian Müller.

The concert was a great success and we hope to see The Zurich Ensemble back to Singapore for a public concert soon. The musicians continue their journey to Taipei, where they will play at The National Concert Hall for a large audience. We wish them a great success!

Location: Steinway Gallery, Singapore
