While it is a longstanding tradition to celebrate the so called ‘Jungbürgerfeier’ in communities within Switzerland, this celebration of the young citizen had its first edition in Singapore on 27^th November. All young Swiss aged 17 or 18 were invited to the Swiss Embassy where Ambassador Kupfer and his team familiarized them with their rights and duties as Swiss citizens. Furthermore, swissnex presented study opportunities in Switzerland. All open questions were discussed during the cocktail afterwards.
