What we do
The overall aim of the Political Section of the Embassy is:
- to promote the Swiss presence in the Russian Federation
- to strengthen relations and the mutual understanding between Switzerland and Russia
We deal with core aspects of bilateral relations such as treaties and agreements, political dialogue and visits by Swiss officials. We also handle press issues and provide information on all aspects of political and institutional life in Switzerland to Russian institutions and citizens at large.
