Swiss artist Samoa Rémy has been invited to hold a solo exhibition at the «Jugendstilsenteret» (Foundation «Kulturkvartalet») in Ålesund. The exhibition will be set up in the museum’s three temporary exhibition spaces and will also feature a site-specific installation/intervention in the museum’s dining room, a jugendstil gesamtkunstwerk. The exhibition aims to explore the connection between past and present, and the potential of expanding the temporal view.
Samoa Rémy has received a number of awards and commendations in recent years. She has participated in exhibitions in different countries.
