Support to the Health Sector
The objective of Switzerland in this fourth phase of the Health Sector Support Program is to continue its current support to the MoH efforts to strengthen its National Health System through the implementation of its Health Sector Strategic Plan 2007-2012. The Swiss focus in 2011 will be the following: The implementation of PFM action plan, MOU implementation monitoring, Promotion of community involvement in health (advocacy and support), Monitoring and Evaluation, Strengthening the Health Information System; improvements in methodology of performance assessment and data verification missions and Gender issues (advocacy for MoH strategy against gender violence, gender responsive budgeting in health). This will be done through technical assistance and intense engagement in policy dialog.
