The Embassy of Switzerland in collaboration with the Frontier Science Research Cluster at the University of Malaya are organising an exhibition titled 'Watt d'Or Award Exhibition' in conjunction with the month long event at the University of Malaya titled 'SEnergy@UM'.

About Watt d'Or Award Exhibition

Every year the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE) awards a prestigious prize called 'The Watt d'Or' to the most innovative energy iniatiatives in Switzerland. The jury is composed of energy experts from various sectors, giving to this annual award a high level of legitimacy.

The Watt d'Or award is divided in five different categories: society, energy technologies, renewable energy, energy efficient mobility, and building and space. These categories are good indicators of where Switzerland's priorities stand in the energy sector today. Swissnex Boston, together with the SFOE, has curated the Watt d'Or exhibition in order to increase visibility for the award-winning Swiss energy innovation projects.

This exhibition, taking place in the framework of Switzerland's new energy policy, is presented from 1st - 31st March 2016 and will be travelling over various continents in 2015 and 2016.
