Furthermore, this centennial anniversary coincides with a Swiss-Greek cultural festival “Culturescapes 2017” that will start on Thursday, 5 October 2017 in Basel, Switzerland, and will follow with a varied program of events and productions in Switzerland until December 2017.

A century ago, in 1917, Greece opened its first representation in Berne, Switzerland. In order to celebrate this anniversary, the Swiss Embassy in Athens has created a commemorative publication, illustrating the strong and friendly ties between our two countries.
