Exchange of know-how with Swiss experts and short training sessions have been the main activities conducted by the project. A partnership was established with the Geneva cantonal police to provide expertise in laboratory organization, quality management, and AFIS data. The quality of the dactyloscopic data needs to be assured through optimized organization, design of workflow and processes and, ultimately, going through a process of certification according to ISO standards and norms. 30 local laboratories needs to be certified. |
