Consortium des ONG suisses pour l’eau et l‘assainissement

Le Consortium des ONG suisses est une réponse globale au défi mondial de l’accessibilité à l’eau potable et à l’assainissement pour les populations rurales pauvres dans la perspective des droits humains. C’est un partenariat innovant sur les plans financier et opérationnels qui valorise et maximise les résultats sur le terrain. Se déployant conjointement sur 20 projets dans 10 pays, il favorise l’efficacité de l’influence politique sectorielle de la Suisse.

Riduzione del rischio di catastrofi e gestione integrale dei bacini idrografici a Tagikistan

Nel distretto di Muminabad in Tagikistan la Svizzera contribuisce a ridurre il rischio di catastrofi ambientali e promuove una gestione integrale dei bacini idrografici di Obishur e Chukurak. L'agricoltura e l'allevamento sostenibili, attuati dalla popolazione e sostenuti dalle autorità locali, creano le condizioni necessarie a tal fine.

Prevention of THB and the Identification, Protection, Support, Return & Reintegration of Victims of Trafficking

The Programme takes a comprehensive approach to improve the collaboration between Switzerland and Bulgaria in combating human trafficking. It undertakes activities to improve the main components of the fight against trafficking, namely prevention of trafficking, identification of victims, provision of protection to victims of trafficking, immediate, medium-term and long-term support to them and shall facilitate the return of victims to their country of origin.

OCHA Somalia, Common Humanitarian Fund (CHF)

The CHF is a pooled funding mechanism administered by OCHA to provide rapid and flexible funding to respond to humanitarian emergencies and priorities. In Somalia, local NGOs are some of the only agencies with access to many of the most vulnerable areas, and the CHF is one of their only mechanisms to access funding from international donors.

ACF-E: Improvement of the living and health conditions in Cordoba, Nariño and Putumayo

The five decades running armed conflict in Colombia continues to cause humanitarian needs such as internal displacement, landmine contamination and the recruitment of minors by armed groups. Through its experienced partner ACF-E, in areas affected by conflict in the provinces of Córdoba, Nariño and Putumayo, SDC supports comprehensive early recovery responses in order to deliver basic services for affected communities living in areas with poor public services delivery, especially in WASH, food security, community empowerment and institutional strengthening, considering cultural and ethnic realities as well as gender equality.

OCHA Ethiopia, Humanitarian Response Fund (HRF)

The HRF is a pooled funding mechanism established to provide rapid and flexible funding to respond to humanitarian emergencies and priorities. In 2014, HRF is mainly geared to respond to new emergency onsets, such as the South Sudanese crisis spill over, seasonal predictable crises as well as on disaster risk management and early recovery interventions.

Regional Economic Development Programme, Cambodia

The Regional Economic Development (RED) programme, implemented by GIZ in Siem Reap Province since 2007, aims at strengthening local economic growth and democratic governance for poverty reduction at local level. SDC joins forces with the German BMZ to scaling up this programme in two new provinces. By focusing on local governance structures, it will support rural poor, in particular women to increase their income and actively participate in local development.

Swiss Malaria Group

Founded in 2007 as an informal network, the Swiss Malaria Group (SMG) has undergone organisational development leading to a formalized multi-stakeholder group with a strategic focus on raising awareness about malaria and the comparative advantage of Switzerland to defeat the disease. Organised as an association, with an Executive Secretariat hosted by Medicus Mundi Switzerland, the 13 organisations help accelerating malaria elimination, through innovative control measures, knowledge and financial flows.

Immediate Assistance to Anbar IDPs in Kirkuk and Salah al-Din Governorates

Save the Children Switzerland and its partners are assisting the civilian population, who fled from the armed conflict in Anbar, in Kirkuk and Salah al-Din provinces by providing food, non-food items, child protection and non-formal education. The focus of the intervention is on protection and assistance of the most vulnerable children and families who are temporarily sheltered in public buildings, schools and mosques and in urgent need of assistance.
