La Serbia, che si trova in pieno processo di negoziazione per l’adesione all’Unione europea (UE), deve effettuare riforme per soddisfare i criteri che si applicano ai Paesi membri. La disoccupazione dei giovani raggiunge il 27,5% ed è una preoccupazione prioritaria per il Governo serbo. Nell’ambito della cruciale riforma del sistema di formazione professionale, la Serbia vuole prendere come riferimento i fattori di successo del sistema svizzero di formazione duale e ha chiesto il sostegno della Svizzera in proposito.

Bangladesh: corsi ad hoc per aumentare le opportunità professionali dei meno abbienti nei settori tessile ed edile

Tre persone formano altrettante cucitrici sul posto di lavoro in una fabbrica tessile.

I settori tessile ed edile in Bangladesh registrano tassi di crescita elevati. Eppure a molti uomini e donne delle fasce povere della popolazione manca il know-how necessario per ottenere posti qualificati. Un progetto cofinanziato dalla Svizzera e dalla Gran Bretagna punta a migliorare le prospettive di 110’000 di loro entro il 2019 grazie alla formazione continua in azienda. I risultati finora ottenuti sono promettenti.

Governance and Decentralisation Programme Phase II (GDP II)

Governance and Decentralisation Programme Phase II (GDP II) aims to support Mongolia’s decentralisation reform process by fostering local governments which are empowered, democratic, and accountable to citizens, and which provide sustainable services responding to citizens’ needs. GDP II is working in close collaboration with Mongolian counterpart organizations to strengthen national ownership. The programme is expected to have a nationwide impact, benefitting all local governments as well as citizens (men and women) of Mongolia. A pro-poor and gender equality focus is explicitly mainstreamed in the programme’s design and its results framework.

Social Accountability 2015-2018

The Social Accountability Programme extends support to the three leading Tanzanian advocacy organisations in the field of policy advocacy, health and agriculture, Policy Forum, Sikika, and ANSAF. Each plays a key role in enhancing transparency and accountability of public resource management at national and local level, scrutinizing public resource data and empowering citizens and local organizations to engage more effectively in public oversight.

PEGIN - Promoción de la Equidad de Género con Incidencia Nacional

Formada por seis organizaciones cubanas la plataforma PEGIN busca incidir en políticas nacionales para promover procesos políticos y sociales a favor de la igualdad de género y para evitar que las reformas actuales no crean nuevas discriminaciones. Además, el proyecto contribuye a incorporar los principios de igualdad de género en todo el programa de COSUDE (transversalización).

Tchad : Oxfam Assist. pers. déplacées RCA

Par son appui financier au projet multisectoriel d’Oxfam, la DDC souhaite contribuer aux besoins humanitaires des personnes déplacées de RCA et des communautés hôtes, grâce à un accès amélioré aux moyens d’existence et aux opportunités économiques, à des services en eau, hygiène et assainissement de base et aux abris, et ainsi participer à la prévention des risques d’insécurité alimentaire, de propagation des maladies diarrhéiques et de conflits intercommunautaires dans le sud du Tchad.

Sudan – OCHA / UNDP, Common Humanitarian Fund(CHF) 2015

The CHF is a multi-donor pooled fund, managed under the direction of the Humanitarian Coordinator (HC). The fund finances projects of UN agencies, international and national non-governmental organizations. The CHF is used for timely allocation and disbursement of donor resources to the most urgent humanitarian needs and critical gaps in Sudan. The CHF strengthens the response capacity and fosters at the same time greater sectoral responsibility and accountability – it has an important role in the current situation.

RCA MdM F- Medical Support 2015

Par son appui financier au projet de MdM-F de soutien aux structures de soins santé primaires et secondaires dans les préfectures de Bangui et de l’Ombella-MPoko, la DDC souhaite contribuer à la réduction de la morbidité et la mortalité dans des zones ayant été définies comme prioritaires dans le SRP 2015, ainsi que soutenir la mise en place de services de prise en charge multisectoriels des victimes de violence liées au genre.

ESTHER (Ensemble pour une Solidarité Thérapeutique Hospitalière En Réseau)

Switzerland contributes to improve the quality of health services and the health of the populations in Low and Middle Income Countries through institutional health partnerships. Switzerland offers its health expertise by twinning Swiss health institutions, mainly hospitals and research institutes, with the same type of institutions and by focusing on the area of sexual and reproductive health including HIV/AIDS. These institutional partnerships are embedded within the framework of the European ESTHER Alliance.

Youth Employment Generation-Gaza

The project will support the Palestinian national and local authorities in responding to the needs of the vulnerable and war-affected youth and disabled in the Gaza Strip through the provision of temporary employment within the framework of emergency job creation. The project will be implemented through UNDP in collaboration with the Ministries of Labour, Social Affairs and the targeted local municipalities. The project is a direct contribution to the early recovery efforts in the Gaza strip and is in line with the Swiss Cooperation Strategy for the oPt 2015 – 2018.

La crescita economica e occupazionale in Albania è ostacolata dalla mancanza di personale con competenze tecniche della dovuta qualità. Per far fronte a questa problematica, il Governo albanese intende promuovere la formazione professionale e adattarla alle esigenze del mercato del lavoro. Il progetto «Skills for Jobs» sostiene tale proposito.

Support to the transition phase of the Institut de la Francophonie pour la Médecine tropicale in Lao PDR (single phase)

One of the major difficulties to improve health and well-being of the populations in the Mekong sub-region comes from the shortage of well-trained health sector’s human resources to contribute to the reduction of health inequalities amongst subgroups of the population (incl. gender, ethnic groups). The project aims at maintaining the IFMT training activities while preparing the transformation into a sub-regional Centre of Excellence for the health and well-being of populations living in tropical zones.
