CBM and FAIRMED, both focussing on health and disability inclusive development, join forces in the LNOB Alliance, building on Leaving No One Behind as the central and transformative promise of the Agenda 2030. The Alliance applies a rights-based approach: it works towards change at an individual level and challenges equally systemic discrimination by strengthening inclusive (health) systems and services and by supporting the agency of the most marginalised communities, including persons with disabilities, to exercise their rights

Core Contribution to Swiss Personnel Development Cooperation of UNITE 2025-2028

UNITE is a Swiss umbrellao rganisationw ith 13 member organisationse ngaged in Personnel Development Cooperation (PDC). The UNITE programme 2025-28 brings together the contribution of nine members to the implementation of the Swiss IC Strategy 2025-28 and the SDGs by strengthening and empowering local organisations in the Global South, in particular through the assignment of qualified, voluntary professionals. UNITE has developed Swiss PDC standards and contributes to the development of international PDC guidelines.

Core contribution to Caritas Switzerland, 2025 - 2028

Caritas Switzerland is dedicated to combating poverty and providing relief assistance in 15 countries affected by disaster and crisis, while combining humanitarian aid, development and peace building. It has strong roots in the Swiss population and partners with various Swiss actors from academia and the private sector. The organisation’s international programme focuses on Income, Climate Change and International Migration – three domains that are highly relevant in the implementation of the Swiss IC Strategy 2025-28

Helvetas is an independent Swiss NGO supported by over 1 00’000 members and private donors. It is active in 35 countries with over 300 projects and about 1'400 staff. Helvetas’ International Programme addresses a range of working areas from Water, Food and Climate, to Jobs and Income, as well as Inclusion and Cohesion. Helvetas is active in the Global South and in Eastern Europe. It is an important actor of the Swiss International Cooperation.

Core Contribution to Alliance for Sustainable Food Systems and Empowered Communities (SUFOSEC) 2025-2028

Through an agroecological approach the SUFOSEC Alliance supports small rural communities and the ones most in need to improve their self-reliance and to develop their capacity to produce healthy and sustainable food for their own consumption and for local markets.

Core Contribution for Gender Equality & Health Alliance (GEH Alliance) 2025-2028

The GEH Alliance is dedicated to addressing gender inequality and improving access to health for women, children and youth, in particular those affected by intersectional discrimination. Its focus is on addressing social norms, discrimination and violence that adversely affect health and well-being, mainly in fragile and crisis affected contexts. Its expertise on sexual and reproductive health and rights, sexual and gender-based violence, health systems strengthening and inclusion is very relevant in light of the Swiss IC strategy 2025-28.

Rooted in the private sector, it has a comparative advantage within international cooperation as a driving force for private sector development. Swisscontact’s overall goal is to strengthen the skills of individuals and foster the competitiveness of businesses, to promote inclusive economic, social and ecological development

Core Contribution to the Alliance Terre des Hommes (TdH) Schweiz-Suisse 2025-2028

Terre des hommes Schweiz and Terre des Hommes Suisse have formed the TDH Alliance to pool their expertise in the promotion of children's and youth rights in Africa, Asia and Latin America. The Alliance’s final goal intends to create the conditions for children and youth to be agents of change, defending and promoting their rights as well as an inclusive and sustainable development to benefit from access to basic services and improve their perspective for a decent life.

The EdM-SoMe Alliance promotes equal access to quality basic health and education services, adapted to local socio-economic realities. It works for vulnerable, most disadvantaged groups: women, children, and poor people in rural areas. The Alliance strengthens national health and education systems and empowers the civil society in the contexts where it is active. The Alliance stands out in its collaboration with the private sector, academic/research partnerships combining education and health.

Core Contribution to Alliance Biovision/CEAS 2025-2028

Biovision and CEAS jointly serve as a catalyst for an inclusive (agro-)ecological transformation that contributes to healthy, prosperous and resilient communities and a sound environment. The alliance cooperates with the public and private sector as well as with civil society in order to incubate and test new technologies in agriculture and food systems, renewable energy, sanitation and health in Sub-Sahara Africa. It intensifies impact and leverage by showcasing successful approaches and through policy dialogue at local and international levels.

SUD, OCHA: Sudan Humanitarian Fund 2025

The SHF is one of the UN’s country-based pooled funds, dedicated to saving lives and protecting people in need by supporting a coordinated and principled humanitarian response. It enables a diverse range of frontline partner organizations to respond swiftly and effectively to humanitarian needs outlined in the Humanitarian Needs and Response Plan (HNRP) and to critical emergencies. This ensures that funding reaches those most in need at the right time.

International Fund for Agricultural Development Core Contribution 2025 – 2027 (IFAD 13)

IFAD aims at transforming rural economies and food systems by making them more inclusive, productive, resilient and sustainable. During 2025-2027, IFAD plans lifting 100 million poor rural women and men out of hunger and poverty. IFAD is one of the 24 priority multilateral organisations of the Swiss International Cooperation and shares its priorities on issues of food security, climate change, nutrition, gender and youth, through innovation and increased engagement with the private sector.
