Soutien aux activités d'INSO au Mali 2026-2028

Dans un contexte sécuritaire dégradé au Mali, l’accès humanitaire et la continuité des interventions sont de plus en plus contraints. En soutenant INSO, la Suisse contribue à renforcer les capacités des ONG à analyser les risques, adapter leurs opérations et maintenir l’accès dans des environnements complexes. Cet appui s’inscrit dans le positionnement de la DDC en faveur d’un accès sûr, fondé sur les besoins et respectueux des principes humanitaires.


Projet d’appui au dispositif national de formation aux métiers des finances publiques du Burkina (DISMEFIP)

Construisant sur les acquis de 15 ans d’appuis du SECO à la Direction Générale des Impôts, la DDC met en place un nouvel appui à l’Institut des Finances Publiques du Burkina (IFPB), focalisé sur la formation aux métiers des finances publiques. Quelques 1800 professionnels seront formés par année sur des thématiques clé (fiscalité, douanes, comptabilité publique, gestion financière, cadastre), créant les conditions pour des avancées durables une efficacité renforcée du Burkina Faso dans le domaine.


Enfants et Jeunes en mobilité en Afrique de TOuest et du Nord (EJM)

L’Afrique de l'Ouest et du Nord est un point de départ, de transit et de destination pour les personnes en mobilité, dont une proportion importante sont des enfants et des jeunes en situation de vulnérabilité, qui se trouvent confrontés à des risques de violence, d’exploitation et de discrimination. La Suisse soutient dans cinq pays, la protection, l’éducation, la formation et l’insertion des enfants et jeunes, avec pour objectif d’établir un socle pour une mobilité plus sûre (cadre normatif et institutionnel, capacités des acteurs), contribuant au développement de ces pays.


Sri Lanka, Direct Action Wash and Disaster Risk Reduction after Cyclone “Ditwah” in 2025

Cyclone “Ditwah” hit Sri Lanka on 27 November 2025, causing the death 640 peoples, flooding, landslides, and damages to roads and water systems. Switzerland deployed a Rapid Response Team to assess needs and implement relief measures. Actions included water distribution, technical training, village-level repairs, and cash support via local partners. A follow-up project will strengthen disaster-resilient drinking water access and activate existing water treatment units.


Egy, TdH Hemayah: Protecting and Empowering Marginalized Communities

Hemayah Phase 2 strengthens protection, well-being, and self-reliance of displaced persons in Egypt, building on Phase 1 achievements and lessons learnt. Responding to the unmet imminent needs of persons displaced by the conflict in Sudan, the project delivers integrated emergency community-based protection; expanded mental health and psychosocial support; and healthcare, targeting 54,000 persons, mostly children, persons with disabilities, elderly, and female-headed households.


Social Cohesion and Peace Initiative, Phase 2

People in Moldova are increasingly divided, and these divisions have deepened since the outbreak of the full-fledged war against Ukraine. Dialogue between people, communities, regions, and public institutions is essential to rebuild trust. This project will create opportunities for young people and older generations across the country to take a more active role in their communities, helping to reduce divisions and support a more inclusive and peaceful society in Moldova.


Somalia Cash Consortium, Emergency Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance

Somalia remains a hyper fragile context with recurrent, complex humanitarian crisis. The project aims to provide life-saving Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) to crisis-affected communities in Somalia. It prioritizes those most left behind, including newly displaced and highly food insecure individuals. As an emergency intervention, the project complements SDC’s broader effort to sustainably strengthen the resilience of vulnerable communities across Somalia.


LAC: Regional Protection and Migration Programme

Latin America is facing the world’s second-largest internal displacement crisis with over 10 million internally displaced persons and more than 7 million migrants in search of better prospects. Switzerland’s regional protection and migration programme addresses causes and consequences of migration and forced displacement in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru by facilitating protection from violence, socioeconomic integration and long-term prospects for vulnerable people on the move.


Support to Mine Coordination in Afghanistan

The Mine Action Technical Cell (MATC) is cornerstone to Afghanistan’s humanitarian mine action, ensuring that lifesaving activities are strategically coordinated and effectively implemented. Through its co-funding, SDC strengthens MATC’s ability to guide and optimize mine action operations – helping to protect communities, safeguard humanitarian access, and maintain the momentum of clearance and risk-reduction efforts across the country.


SUD, SRK, MPCA North Kordofan

The Swiss Red Cross (SRC) project Multipurpose Cash Assistance for IDPs and Host Communities in North Kordofan aims to enable vulnerable people to meet their basic needs with dignity and flexibility. At the same time, it strengthens local humanitarian capacity by supporting the Sudanese Red Crescent Society (SRCS). This intervention is particularly relevant considering Sudan’s ongoing conflict and displacement crisis, as it promotes people’s self-reliance, self-sufficiency, and increases their sense of autonomy.


Contribution to the Resilience of conflict-affected population via the Livelihood Assistance in Ukraine

Switzerland supports Ukraine’s economic recovery through the Ukraine Economic Resilience Pro-gramme (ERP), by strengthening businesses and creating jobs. The programme works closely with authorities, financial institutions, and the private sector to ensure support reaches those most in need, particularly in war-affected regions. It contributes to restoring local economies while supporting broader recovery efforts, while ensuring that support is sustainable and aligned with Ukraine’s long-term reconstruction priorities.


United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), Core Contribution 2026–2029

01.04.2026 - 31.12.2029

Switzerland provides core funding to UNDRR, the United Nations focal point for DRR and custodian of the Sendai Framework. The intervention supports UNDRR's Strategic Framework 2026–2030, strengthening disaster risk governance and policy coherence across climate, humanitarian and development agendas. As host state and leading donor, Switzerland leverages this partnership to anchor Geneva as a global hub for prevention and shape the post-2030 DRR architecture.
