Deadline: 04 April 2018 - The Executive Master in Development Policies and Practices is an international programme designed for professionals working in the field of development.

Accessible in five distinct regions of the globe with study options in three languages, it provides strategic analysis tools and enhances the leadership capacity of participants, who apply newfound skills through a professional thesis at work.

The programme is delivered in three modules:

  1. 5 intensive weeks (full-time) in one of the five regional hubs;

  2. 4 months of applied practice (part-time with distance learning) at your place of work and,

  3. 3 weeks (full-time) immersion in Geneva at the Graduate Institute.

The programme targets professionals who presently hold or are likely to hold key positions in public or private sector organisations, NGOs or civil society associations.

The DPP programme is benefiting from significant subsidies granted by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the Canton of Geneva, the Avina Stiftung foundation and other institutions. These subsidies are allocated to the candidates according to their country of origin, which classification takes into account the priority countries of Swiss cooperation and the Human Development Index (HDI) – and Zimbabwe and Malawi are part these.
