Chinzorig, Minister of Labour and Social Protection, Mr. Stefan Duppel, German Ambassador in Mongolia, Mrs. Ilaria Dali, Deputy Head of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Mongolia, S. Munkhbat, Director General of the Science and Technology Policy Department of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports, and Ya. Tumurbaatar, President of the National University of Mongolia.

“This new master’s programme in Career Studies is of utmost significance for our country," Mr Tumurbaatar said. "There is great demand for this profession in Mongolia. Today there is a wide range of unresolved issues in the provision of career guidance services. For this reason, the new graduates of this programme carry a great responsibility to develop career guidance services in our country.”

In recognition of their contribution to the development of the master's programme, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports awarded professors Ertelt and Scharpf from the German Federal Employment Agency's University of Applied Sciences with Honorary Certificates.

The master's programme was developed and implemented with support from the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports through the Cooperative Vocational Training in the Mineral Resource Sector Project jointly implemented by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection and GIZ, financed by the governments of Switzerland, German and Australia.
