Culture and Small Action Project
SDC's Small Action Projects are a flexible and efficient tool to respond to local needs that couldn’t be directly addressed by the main programmes within the Swiss Cooperation Strategy (CS), while Culture Projects support local cultural initiatives and Swiss-Mongolian exchanges.

The small actions were also helpful as a flexible tool to address SDC’s past cross-cutting themes of governance, human rights and gender, as well as supporting Swiss-Mongolian cultural exchanges, which promoted the Swissness and Swiss presence in Mongolia. |
Objectives |
Culture and Small Action Project in the Phase 4 will concentrate on funding cultural and artistic initiatives. The Culture Project will aim to strengthen both local cultural identity and diversity, and to promote intercultural exchanges between Switzerland and Mongolia |

Results |
Expected results: Projects will be financed on competitive basis through an open call for proposals. The call will be announced once at the beginning of each calendar year through SDC’s communications channel and local media outlets. Results from previous phases: SA projects in the past have contributed to: Culture projects contributed to revival and appreciation of the traditional cultural heritages, and diversified artistic and cultural expressions. |
