The project will contribute to market system development of the bio-based and agri-food, circular and sustainable energy value chains in Luxor, Qena, Sohag and Beni Suef (with a particular focus on women and youth). This will be done through capacity building/upskilling, creation of market linkages and integration of sustainble practices and policies to reduce poverty, mitigate climate change and reduce environmental degradation.

The project reinforces the most important activities of civil society organizations in a difficult political and financial context. The EU, Ireland and Switzerland through DanChurchAid support these organizations in their efforts to promote human rights, press freedom, and civic engagement and to develop strategies for their sustainability. The project contributes to Switzerland's objective to maintain a space for civil society and to allow citizens to actively participate in their development processes.


South East Asia Climate and Clean Air Initiative (SEACAI)

Southeast Asia experiences very harmful periods of air pollution every year causing health, environment and economic damage. Switzerland, Germany and France are joining forces to tackle sources of air pollution and global warming together in Southeast Asia. The project will identify and scale innovative solutions for reducing air and climate pollutants and provide Swiss know-how and experiences on clean air to support joint action, with a special focus on the Lower Mekong region.

Dans un contexte de crise sécuritaire et de transition politique, l’économie du Niger demeure informelle et peu diversifiée, avec une population majoritairement en sous-emploi. Par ce programme, la DDC maintient son soutien au secteur privé à travers l’entreprenariat dans les chaines de valeurs agricoles porteuses afin de créer des emplois et revenus décents pour les femmes et les jeunes et contribuer à réduire la pauvreté.


Framework for Third Party Monitoring and Adaptive Management

The third-party monitoring mandate contributes to an accountable, evidence-based, and effective implementation of Switzerland’s country programme in Ukraine 2025-2028. Third-party monitoring activities accompany the implementation of the Swiss country programme and thus contribute to improved steering, learning, a stronger evidence-base, and ultimately enhanced accountability re-garding the use of public funds.


Inclusion financière dans l’Union Economique et Monétaire Ouest Africaine (UEMOA)

La Suisse soutient la Stratégie Régionale d’Inclusion Financière SRIF 2025 – 2030 de l’UEMOA afin de faciliter l’accès des populations les plus vulnérables à des services financiers et non financiers (assurances) adaptés et inclusifs. Cela permet de générer des revenus, de stabiliser les finances des ménages et d’ouvrir la voie à une inclusion sociale et économique plus large, en particulier des femmes et groupes mal desservis.


Colombia: UN Multi-Partner Trust Fund for Peacebuilding MPTF (phase 4)

Colombia’s “United Nations Multi-Donor Trust Fund for Peacebuilding” is a tripartite mechanism between the Government of Colombia, the United Nations, and more than 15 donors to support the implementation of the 2016 Colombian peace agreement between the government and Colombia’s former mayor rebel group. Its continued implementation is crucial to sustain peace, stability and human rights for the benefit of vulnerable communities in former conflict affected regions. Switzer-land’s contribution to the MPTF is a critical part of its comprehensive peace agenda to Colombia.


Markets and Seeds Access Project (MASAP)

This project contributes to improved resilient livelihoods of smallholder farmers by supporting climate-resilient crop value chains. It promotes private sector engagement, enhanced market systems, and supportive policies for small grains and legumes. Implemented by NIRAS with the Community Technology Development Organisation and the Swiss-based Research Institute of Organic Agriculture, the project will expand in Zimbabwe while exiting Zambia after two agricultural seasons to ensure a responsible phase-out.


Facilitation de l'accès aux opérations humanitaires dans les zones de conflits en RDC

Les ONG en RDC opèrent dans un contexte complexe et volatile. Afin de réduire les défis liés à l’accès humanitaires elles ont besoin de services d'information, de coordination sécuritaire et de soutien administratif pour une meilleure gestion des risques. INSO, le Forum des ONG (FONGI) et le Conseil National de Fora des Organisations Humanitaires et de Développement (CONAFOHD) fourniront des services d’analyses, de conseils et plaidoyer permettant une meilleure mise en oeuvre des projets notamment ceux soutenus par la Suisse.


Economic Policies for Inclusive Growth II

Switzerland  aims  to contribute  to  the  improvement  of  living  standards  in Mozambique  through  more  inclusive  economic  growth  policies,  by  strengthening  the  capacity  of  the Government  to design,  advocate  for  and  adopt  policies  and  practices,  and  promoting  productive  synergies between the government and academia. 


EGY Comprehensive Protection for Refugees (CPR)

The protection space for migrants and forcibly displaced persons shrunk to unprecedented levels due to the restrictive environment, shrinking funds and the arrival of several hundreds of thousands fleeing the conflict in Sudan. The project will respond to the most vulnerable’s needs in greater Cairo by improving their access to protection and community-based services through partnerships with Refugee-led Organizations and strengthened advocacy. The project follows a sustainable approach, promoting localization.


ALB: Enhancing public sector resilience against corruption

01.07.2025 - 31.12.2027

Albania's efforts to combat public sector corruption and align with  international asset management standards are accelerating, driven by the EU accession process. In partnership with Council of Europe and Basel Institute of Governance, the project will introduce inclusive approaches to strengthen resilience against corruption. It will enhance the country's prevention mechanisms - particularly at the local level and healthcare - and will promote the social reuse of seized assets from illegal activities.
