Provision of food voucher assistance to around 20,000 poor and severely food insecure Palestinians in Gaza

Project completed
Overall funding to WFP’s programme in the oPt dropped in 2017 in spite of an alarming deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. WFP’s voucher programme targeting 20’000 poor and severely-food insecure persons assisted by the Ministry of Social Development are directly at risk. SDC’s additional contribution to WFP will cover the needs of these social hardship cases for a period of 2 ½ months.
