Aktivitäten

To achieve outcome 1, the project will adapt existing software to the Romanian context and train the community of investigators in the use of these new tools in their investigations. In parallel, the project will produce additional data, stories and documentaries on organized crime in Romania to be disseminated in the public through civil society and mass media (outcome 2).

  • 4 Training sessions organized in Romania with at least 140 participants
  • 2 professional exchange workshop organized in Switzerland
  • Completed Public Records Database of local and cross-border organized crime
  • Publication of more than 200 Investigative exposés and 12 doc-umentaries
  • Increased media and civil society exposure of organized crime in Romania and Switzerland.
  • Journalists and civil society use new investigative techniques and tools enabling them to uncover organized crime networks.
  • A common culture of sharing tools and knowledge is developed in the organized crime and corruption investigation community in Romania and Switzerland.
  • Local and cross-border organized crime structures and their modus operandi are increasingly exposed in the public sphere.
  • Knowledge transfer between Romania and Switzerland.
