Switzerland welcomes the release of US-Iranian citizen Saberi

Switzerland welcomes the release of US-Iranian citizen Roxana Saberi. As the protecting power, Switzerland looks after the interests of US citizens in Iran. In the framework of this mandate, Switzerland urged the Iranian authorities via its embassy in Tehran to grant Ms Saberi fair treatment. The US authorities have thanked Switzerland for its efforts.
