’A journey in international cooperation’ is the theme of this year’s Forum cinfo. Presentations, speeches and panel discussions will present and explore various aspects of international cooperation. Visitors will be able to learn more about working and living in fragile contexts, the role of new players in the international cooperation field, HR trends, the skills required to work in this field, career entry points and typical career options.

Panel discussion and side events

Thomas Greminger, Deputy Director General of the SDC, will deliver a speech on the changing landscape of international cooperation and chair the subsequent panel discussion. The panel will include Eva Mennel (HR Director of the United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF) and Erik Keller (Director of INTERTEAM, an NGO).

More than 15 multilateral organisations will also be in attendance. Visitors will be able to talk face-to-face with representatives and find out more about the various career options these organisations have to offer.

Information sessions

The programme also includes an information session, which will be of particular interest to individuals thinking about applying for one of the current JPO vacancies with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the World Bank.

An information event on the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Leadership Pool and Emergency Roster will be held on 27 October 2016. For more information, please contact recruitment@cinfo.ch.
