The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC has extended a helping hand to Uzbekistan in the formulation of the Water Sector Development Concept 2020-2030. The Decree on Approval of the Water Sector Development Concept 2020-2030 was signed by the President of Uzbekistan on July 10. It defines specific goals, medium and long-term prospects for the development of the water sector. At the same time, a RoadMap on specific measures for the implementation of the Concept in the first three years (2020-2022) was approved.
The Concept was developed jointly with experts of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the Asian Development Bank.
