Cyber Defence Symposium

The Embassy of Switzerland in the UK hosted its second Cyber Defence Symposium, bringing together guests from think tanks, government, the defence attaché community and industry.

On the topic of Resilience: Protection of the Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) there were keynote speeches from the Swiss Federal Office for Civil Protection (FOCP), the UK Cabinet Office’s Civil Contingencies Secretariat and the UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) sharing insights on both countries’ approaches to cyber defence, resilience and the protection of Critical National Infrastructure.

Completing the panel were cyber security experts from ABB Limited UK and the Swiss BKW Energie AG adding an industry perspective, with Rt Hon Lord Arbuthnot of Edrom moderating the lively discussion.
