Welcome back to this year’s “Mois de la Francophonie”! Organized by the Alliance Française de Taïwan with the Trade Office of Swiss Industries as one of the co-partners, a series of cultural activities for the grand public will take place around Taipei and Kaohsiung.
Among the multiple events scheduled from March 10th to 27th in Taipei, the Trade Office of Swiss Industries will present the following:
- Thursday, March 11th, 2021 at 19.30 pm, Thinkers’ Studio Beimen, Screening of the Swiss movie “Tambour battant” (French with English subtitles) as part of the Festival de films
“1970, in a small village amidst the Swiss mountains, two local brass bands compete for the Swiss final contest, while at the same time, women push to earn the right to vote.”
- Thursday, March 18th, 2021 from 19.00- 21.00 pm, Dotel-Ximen, Board games evening
“Come and discover typical board games from French-speaking countries in a relaxed setting. Enjoy an evening of discovery and exchange!”
- Sunday, March 21st, 2021 from 11.30 am- 16.30 pm, Shilin Residence (Rose Garden), French song contest
“Come enjoy a Sunday of French songs and traditional Haitian dances in a beautiful and refreshing open-air setting.”
