Switzerland Tourism, with the support of the Trade Office of Swiss Industries, organized for the first time the “Switzerland Travel Experience” seminar in Taipei on the 26th February 2019.
Representatives of 42 destination offices, museums and hotels from all cantons of Switzerland promoted their product to over 60 travel agents from Taiwan and Hong Kong. Batiste Pilet, District Manager North China & Taiwan of Switzerland Tourism, said: “Taiwan has continued to grow steadily since 2009. In 2015, it exceeded 100,000 overnights, while it reached 195,052 overnights in 2017. Taiwan is an important market for Switzerland Tourism with great potential.” The seminar was a huge success.
