It is important that all parties implement the agreement reached in good faith so that we may see a successful transition to a peaceful, democratic and prosperous Sudan.
Switzerland stands ready to support this process.
In addition, the already critical humanitarian situation in Sudan has been further aggravated in recent months. The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC is therefore increasing its humanitarian aid to Sudan by CHF 1 million, which will be made available to the World Food Program (WFP). Switzerland's humanitarian aid to Sudan will amount to about CHF 9 million in 2019.
