The Embassy of Switzerland and the Alliance française are co-hosting the screening of the animated film “Ma vie de Courgette” (“My Life as a Zucchini”) by Swiss director Claude Barras.
“Ma vie de Courgette” tells the story of nine-year-old Icare, called Courgette, who is placed in an orphanage after his mother’s sudden death. At first, the struggle to adapt in this strange new environment is harsh. Yet Courgette is befriended by a kind policeman who helps him to eventually learn to trust and find true love.
