The Call will last until 16 April 2019 and up to 12 project proposals will be supported.

The right to participate have 99 towns and municipalities covered by the programme that belong to II, III and IV groups according to the level of development, and do not have the established unit for providing free legal or advisory services. The programme also encourages inter-municipal cooperation and joint applications of two or more local self-governments will be supported through the Call.

Cities and municipalities with the best project proposals will receive, in addition to grants for the establishment of the Citizens’ Advisory Services, the technical assistance in the form of a methodology for the work of the Advisory Services and tools for keeping records of service users.

In order to introduce local self-government representatives with the details of the Call, the Swiss PRO programme will organise six information sessions across the country in the period from 25 March to 3 April 2019.

More information about the Call may be found at the Swiss PRO Programme website.
